At Kerastase, luxury meets sustainability. My goal was to to boost brand presence and lead Kerastase eco-friendly initiatives. I introduced new interactive retail experiences that increased engagement and sales, while our online content emphasized luxury, sustainability, and client satisfaction. Using 60% recycled materials and energy-efficient lighting in retail spaces at premium malls, I showcased environmental responsibility of the company.

Description

Kerastase, where luxury meets sustainability in premium shopping malls and retail spaces. My mission was clear: elevate the brand's presence by crafting luxurious experience and eco-friendly booths and kiosks.

I introduced interactive digital experiences where customers can lift products to view details and usage instructions on displays. Users can also scan QR codes to receive personalized recommendations based on their hair type.

Embracing sustainability, I used recycled MDF in 60% of retail structures, alongside energy-efficient LED lighting and low-energy screens to reduce consumption, aligning with my eco-conscious values.

Retail Space

Moreover, my design focused on recyclability, with 60% of components easily disassembled and recycled at the end of their lifecycle. This not only minimizes waste but also underscores my dedication to sustainable practices and reducing cost.
My innovation didn't stop there. I implemented an interactive table showcasing Kerastase's products, with detailed usage instructions. This immersive experience not only increased client awareness but also fostered engagement within the salon, driving sales and deepening brand connection.

Interactive Retail Display

The implementation of interactive digital experiences showcasing the brand's products, complete with detailed usage instructions on the screen, has successfully increased client awareness and engagement. This innovative solution allows clients to explore and learn about each product's features and benefits, fostering a deeper understanding and driving sales.

User Experience

  • The user will approach the digital interactive display and lift a product.
  • The underlying sensors will detect which product is being held by the customer.
  • Detailed information about the product and usage instructions will be shown on the display in front of the user.
  • When the user returns the products, the display goes back to the initial screen.
  • The user can choose another product and the display will automatically switch to show information about the product the customer is holding.
  • Users can also scan the QR code and answer a few questions to show a list of recommended products based on their hair type and inputs.

After launching this experience, we have seen experts and salon owners using it to educate themselves and their customers about Kerastase products.
In addition, I was able to collect and analyze data from the digital experience to present additional analytics on our users and sales to our executive team.

This experience has successfully increased client awareness and engagement within the retail spaces and salons. This innovative solution allowed clients to explore and learn about each product's features and benefits, fostering a deeper understanding and driving sales.
